Is it immodest of me to say that, given that I baked them? I’m giving the credit to the recipe, courtesy of the famous Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. The cakes were made with Teapigs matcha green tea powder but the flavour that hits you hardest is almond from the extract. The sponge is gooey rather than light which suits me – I’m a gooey kind of gal!
P.S. This is the first time I have ever got my icing thick enough to pipe so it was a great bake! I’m sure Catherine Rose from SweetCheeks will be proud!
